About the Role:
The Cashier & Retail Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service to customers while processing transactions accurately. This role supports daily store operations, maintains a clean and organized environment, and ensures a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Cashier Duties

Process customer purchases using POS systems (cash, debit, credit)

Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies

Balance cash drawer and ensure accuracy in transactions

Issue receipts, gift cards, and store credits
-
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Customer Service Duties:

Greet customers and provide assistance with product inquiries
-
Offer recommendations and guide customers to products
-
Resolve customer concerns or escalate to management when needed
-
Maintain knowledge of store promotions, sales, and policies
-
Ensure a positive and welcoming shopping environment
Store Support:
-
Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and maintain product displays

Assist with inventory counts and receiving shipments

Keep store clean, organized, and safe (floors, shelves, fitting rooms, etc.)

Follow all company procedures, including loss prevention and safety guidelines
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic math skills and comfort using POS systems

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and customer‑focused

Ability to lift light weight and stand for extended periods
