About the Role:

The Welder is responsible for performing high‑quality TIG and MIG welding on a variety of metals and components. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications. The ideal candidate is certified, safety‑focused, and capable of producing consistent, accurate welds in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

• Set up welding equipment, tools, and materials according to job specifications

• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards

• Grind, cut, or clean metal surfaces to prepare for welding

• Maintain welding equipment and report any issues or repairs needed

• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and safe handling of materials

• Work collaboratively with fabricators, supervisors, and other team members

• Complete assigned tasks within required timelines while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications:

• Valid TIG and MIG welding certification (CWB or equivalent)

• Minimum 1–3 years of welding experience (fabrication or industrial environment preferred)

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols

• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Ability to lift up to [X] lbs and perform physical tasks

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets (Optional):

• Experience with flux‑core or stick welding

• Knowledge of fabrication, fitting, or machining

• Forklift or overhead crane certification

• Experience in stainless steel or aluminum fabrication
