Our company is currently seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Analyst to join our team at our Carpinteria, CA facility. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving our Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and helping to build a culture focused on zero injuries and environmental safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main interface between our facilities, business unit management, and the corporate EHS department.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, standards, and procedures across the facility.
- Coordinate reporting, tracking, and root cause analysis of workplace incidents, injuries, illnesses, and environmental incidents. Implement corrective actions and track to completion.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments, providing guidance and improving existing practices.
- Collaborate with management to set safety, health, and environmental goals (both short-term and long-term), working toward continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding goals.
- Lead multiple safety programs, including hazardous communication, contractor safety, machine guarding, and more.
- Conduct inspections, assessments, and industrial hygiene surveys to ensure ongoing compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee facility environmental permits and energy reduction projects. Track monthly safety and environmental metrics.
- Lead and support internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage the EH&S management system tool, ensuring its effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency (Green Card) required due to ITAR regulations.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience managing electrical and chemical safety programs is a plus.
