Packing Inspector

Position Overview:

 The Packing Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring products meet quality and packaging requirements before they reach our customers. This position is responsible for visually inspecting, marking, and packaging magnets for shipment according to customer specifications.

The ideal Packing Inspector will have the following experience:

Experience working in manufacturing or inspection
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to meet individual and team goals
 

Major Functions:

Read and Understand Documentation:
Access and follow Work Instructions (WI) and Process Control Standards (PCS) 
Recommend updates and revisions to WI and PCS
Drawing Interpretation:
Verify part numbers match between customer drawings and manufacturing router
Identify specific customer requirements from technical drawings
Equipment Setup:
Set up equipment as required for marking and packaging
Maintain Work Area:
Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized
Request reorder of consumables as needed
Data Entry and Accuracy:
Record data accurately into the ERP system and on manufacturing routers
Perform in-process inspection as required
Inventory Management:
Manage and maintain Pack LTA Inventory
Enter all inventory-related transactions in the ERP system
