Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is partnering with an HVAC, Refrigeration, & Heating Supply Company seeking an upbeat and customer‑focused Inside Sales Counter Representative. This role supports phone and walk‑in customers, processes sales orders, and assists with warehouse and store operations in a fast‑paced office/industrial environment.
Assist customers at the sales counter and over the phone with product selection and order processing
Handle walk‑in and phone sales orders accurately and efficiently
Pull, stage, and load merchandise for customer pickups and deliveries
Support general warehouse operations, including stocking, organizing, and inventory upkeep
Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards
Provide friendly, positive, and professional customer service at all times
Work as a team player and contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment
Stay open to learning about HVAC, refrigeration, and supply products
Experience working in the HVAC/supply industry is REQUIRED
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
Comfortable working in a combined office/industrial warehouse environment
Positive, upbeat attitude with strong communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
Willingness to continue learning product lines and industry terminology
