Job Title: Preventive Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Beaumont, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on fleet vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and report potential issues before they become major repairs.

• Maintain accurate service and inspection records in accordance with company and DOT requirements.

• Diagnose and complete minor repairs as needed (lights, belts, hoses, batteries, etc.).

• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

• Collaborate with fleet supervisors and dispatch to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and service bays.

• Assist in maintaining parts inventory and ordering supplies when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school training preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance or fleet service (light to medium-duty vehicles preferred).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and preventive maintenance standards.

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.

• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
