Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Laborer to support daily operations at our prefab home manufacturing warehouse. This role involves material handling, yard organization, loading and unloading, and general labor to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move building materials, components, and supplies within the yard and warehouse

• Organize and maintain yard inventory, materials, and work areas

• Operate basic equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools

• Perform general labor duties including cleaning, sweeping, and debris removal

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times

• Assist warehouse and production teams as needed to meet project timelines

• Perform basic inspections of materials and report damage or shortages

• Moving lumber, using a forklift to load into the trucks, counting inventory, loading flatbed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely

• Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse work preferred (but not required)

• Must know how to use a forklift

• Basic mechanical or tool knowledge is helpful
