Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Experienced Press Brake Operator for fabrication and manufacturing opportunities in St. Louis, MO. What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up and operate legacy or older-model press brake machines to form sheet metal parts to print
• Perform complete press brake setups including tooling installation, alignment, bend sequencing, and machine adjustments
• Select, stage, and maintain precision punches, dies, and specialty tooling
• Read and interpret blueprints, bend prints, work orders, tolerances, and bend notes
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Adjust for springback, material variation, and tooling wear to maintain tight tolerances
• Meet production schedules while minimizing scrap and rework
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant fabrication area

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of press brake operating experience, including full machine setup
• Proven experience running and setting up older-model or legacy press brake equipment
• Strong knowledge of press brake tooling, setups, and precision bending practices
• Ability to independently verify parts to print and troubleshoot quality issues
• Experience working with tight tolerances in a fabrication environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and safety-focused mindset
