Pay: $20-$22 an hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Precision Manufacturing Technician to support the production of specialized core materials used in aerospace and military applications, including rockets, helicopters, and other defense vehicles. This is a clean, highly controlled manufacturing environment and is very different from a traditional CNC or shop-floor role.
This position focuses on the hands-on handling, preparation, measuring, and cleaning of lightweight foam materials, as well as assisting with machine setup and operation. Success in this role depends far more on attention to detail, cleanliness, and willingness to learn than prior CNC experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Read and follow detailed digital work instructions from a database for each custom order
• Prepare, handle, and place lightweight foam core materials onto machines
• Vacuum, clean, and inspect materials to maintain strict cleanliness standards
• Measure materials accurately throughout the process
• Load and unload materials from machines and operate basic machine controls
• Maintain an extremely clean and organized work area
• Work closely with a small, tight-knit team in a disciplined, process-driven environment

• Strong computer skills for reading job instructions and order details
• Clean, organized, and methodical work habits
• Desire to learn the manufacturing process and grow within the company
• Team-player attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a clean environment (not suitable for individuals uncomfortable with strict cleanliness standards)
Experience
• No prior CNC experience required for entry-level candidates
• Manufacturing, machine operation, or precision assembly experience is a plus
• Candidates with experience may be trained further into CAD or advanced processes over time
Physical Requirements
• Light physical work only (no heavy lifting)
• Repetitive handling of lightweight foam materials
• Standing, measuring, and cleaning throughout the shift
