We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience of supervisor experience. Directs and coordinates activities concerned with acquisition of automotive equipment and operation and maintenance of vehicular fleet repair and storage facilities. knowledge of the functionality of the parts, able to reassemble parts taken from actual vehicles, machines, and possessing a strong mechanical background.- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment- Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty components- Utilize power tools for repair and maintenance tasks- Operate and maintain dealership-specific equipment, such as Caterpillar machinery- Conduct vehicle maintenance including hydraulics, brakes, and other systems- Repair and maintain a variety of industrial equipment
Requirements
- Prior experience in a supervisor role- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines- Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and heavy equipment operation- Familiarity with DOT practices- Prior experience in automotive repair or diesel mechanics- Familiarity with dealership-specific machinery is a plus
