We are recruiting on behalf of a local portable storage provider seeking a reliable Box Truck Driver to support the delivery and pickup of portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers.
This is an excellent part-time opportunity for individuals looking to supplement their income, including those with other driving roles (such as school bus drivers) who have flexible availability.
Drive a 25 ft company delivery truck to deliver and retrieve portable storage containers (primarily within a 60-mile radius).
Safely load, unload, secure, and transport containers without damaging customer property or equipment.
Maneuver trucks into loading zones and properly secure containers using tie-downs and safety chains.
Operate International 4300 box trucks/rollbacks safely and in compliance with all safety protocols.
Update delivery software via mobile device, including proof of delivery.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
Perform basic maintenance such as refueling, checking fluids, oil changes, and minor repairs.
Transport vehicles to repair facilities for scheduled maintenance when needed.
Assist with general container upkeep, readiness for rentals, and auctions as required.
Complete basic administrative tasks while interacting professionally with customers and vendors.
Minimum 2 years of experience driving 26 ft or similar trucks.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Class A license is a plus.
1+ year of tow truck or flatbed driving experience strongly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and operational instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and sales skills are a plus.
Ability to perform essential job functions safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
