We’re looking for reliable, hands‑on candidates to join a multi‑department production team supporting several key stages of cabinet manufacturing, including mill operations, cabinet assembly, and shipping. This shop offers a supportive, team‑focused atmosphere, and while experience is helpful, we’re fully prepared to train motivated, entry‑level individuals who are willing to learn and work hard. In the mill area, the role involves operating woodworking equipment to cut, shape, and prepare cabinet parts, handling materials safely, and using basic math and tape‑measure skills to maintain accuracy. In the assembly department, the position assists with building cabinet components, reading simple shop drawings, using hand and power tools, and ensuring parts fit and function correctly. The shipping portion includes staging finished products, packaging cabinets for transport, loading trucks, and keeping orders organized and ready for delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, hands‑on work and wants to grow their skills across multiple areas of cabinet production in a positive, fast‑paced environment.

Schedule

• 1st Shift 
• Monday–Thursday, 4:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
• Mandatory overtime as needed
• Time‑and‑a‑half paid after 40 hours
• Double‑time paid after 50 hours

Pay

• $20/hr.
• Weekly paychecks every Friday 

Mill Production Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and prepare cabinet parts
• Read and follow measurements, cut lists, and basic shop drawings
• Use tape measures and precision tools to verify accuracy
• Handle raw materials and maintain organized stock areas
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

Assembly Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinet components using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and instructions
• Install hardware, hinges, and drawer systems
• Inspect parts for fit, finish, and quality
• Troubleshoot minor fit issues and make adjustments
• Keep workstations organized and stocked with materials

Shipping Responsibilities

• Prepare finished cabinets and components for shipment
• Package, wrap, and protect products to prevent damage
• Stage orders by job number and verify accuracy
• Load trucks safely using carts or pallet jacks
• Maintain organized shipping and staging areas
• Assist with inventory counts and documentation

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to read measurements accurately using tape measures and basic hand tools
• Comfort operating hand and power tools commonly used in woodworking and assembly
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery and production processes
• Strong attention to detail to ensure parts are cut, assembled, and packaged correctly
• Ability to follow instructions, shop drawings, and production guidelines
• Reliable work ethic with consistent attendance and a positive attitude
• Physical ability to lift materials, stand for long periods, and perform hands‑on tasks
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to communicate and work well with others
• Organizational skills to keep work areas, parts, and orders properly arranged
• Willingness to train and grow across multiple departments (mill, assembly, shipping)
