Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Spray Painters / Coatings Technicians for a 2nd shift manufacturing opportunity in Wentzville, MO. This position is ideal for skilled industrial painters or spray booth operators with experience in surface preparation, coating application, and spray equipment operation within a production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, priming, sealing, and patching materials
• Apply primers, polyurethanes, lacquer thinner finishes, and textured coatings to truck beds and related surfaces
• Tape, sand, repair, and apply texturing layers to meet production specifications
• Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment including spray guns, robotic spray guns, pumps, and sprayers
• Erect scaffolding, rigging, and ladders as needed while following safety guidelines
• Safely store, label, and handle paints, coatings, and related materials
• Maintain accurate records and submit required production reports
• Read, understand, and communicate work instructions clearly
• Follow all quality control, safety, and production standards

Requirements

• Previous industrial spray painting or coatings experience preferred
• Experience using paint spray guns in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and specifications
• Blueprint reading knowledge preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with TS and ISO quality requirements
• Knowledge of robotic spray systems or robot programming is a strong asset
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
