Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate 

 

Job Summary:

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for centralized shipping and receiving operations across all business units. This role ensures accurate documentation, carrier coordination, and compliance with logistics standards. The specialist will also be cross-trained to support material handling functions when needed.

 

 Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive all incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and enter data into ERP systems
• Prepare and ship domestic and international orders across all business units
• Maintain and organize shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs forms
• Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) and resolve customs clearance issues
• Track and confirm shipments, providing updates to internal stakeholders
• Maintain shipping supplies and ensure packaging meets compliance standards
• Cross-train to support material handling roles as needed

 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using ERP systems and shipping platforms
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures and documentation
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Ability to lift and move packages and operate warehouse equipment safely

 

Education and Experience:

• High school Diploma or equivilent
• Warehouse or logistics experience

 

Pay Rate Range: $22-26.00/HR
