Animal Caretaker – Doggy Daycare

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a local doggy daycare client and is screening candidates immediately for interviews this Friday.

This hands-on role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves dogs and enjoys staying active in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Feed dogs and ensure fresh water is always available

• Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and common spaces

• Monitor dogs’ health and behavior and report any concerns

• Assist with basic care needs and follow care or medication instructions

• Supervise playgroups, exercise dogs, and encourage positive socialization

• Maintain simple care and activity records

• Follow all safety and animal welfare guidelines

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with dogs and animal care

• Reliable, attentive, and safety-focused

• Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and stay active throughout the shift

• Comfortable working in a hands-on, sometimes messy environment

• Previous animal care or daycare experience is helpful but not required
