We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician in Big Spring, TX. This is a long-term, full-time position for a hands-on professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in enforcing safety regulations by identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards

• Perform custodial duties as needed, including cleaning, mopping, trash removal, and replacing light bulbs

• Perform repairs related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance

• Cleaning, painting, repairing, replacing, and refinishing surfaces, windows, appliances, window coverings, and flooring

• Move common area furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed

• Request, track, store, and safeguard tools, equipment, and chemicals

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders with the supervisor

• Attend staff meetings and required trainings
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Maintenance Technician

• Prior experience in apartment maintenance or construction required

• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience with Yardi or similar software preferred

• Ability to quickly learn organizational systems and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and carry 50 lbs or more regularly

• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and perform prolonged physical activity

• Position requires extensive physical exertion, including walking, manual labor, and use of hand and power tools
