The Hotel Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling check-ins and check-outs, and addressing guest needs throughout their stay. This role serves as the first point of contact and represents the hotel’s brand and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure a positive first impression

  • Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently

  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally

  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly

  • Process payments, issue invoices, and balance cash and credit transactions

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness

  • Maintain accurate guest records and daily reports

  • Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions

  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and security procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality degree is a plus)

  • Previous customer service or hotel front desk experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities

  • Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS) and basic computer skills

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
