Salary: $90k Annually

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor for a local accounting firm.

 

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns and special projects as needed
• Review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofits
• Supervise, mentor, and train staff and senior accountants
• Assist with staff scheduling, workload management, and deadline monitoring
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Assist with client meetings and year-end tax planning discussions
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations and more....

Experience and Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of public accounting experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized firm
• Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation
• Experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff
