Battery Formation Operator

A manufacturing company in Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking a Battery Formation Operator to join their team.

What you’ll be doing as the Battery Formation Operator

• Read and follow detailed work instructions and established procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with team members to move battery cells through the prescribed formation process while meeting daily production goals
• Load, unload, and manually transfer battery cells between aging ovens, charge/discharge equipment, and bins with precision
• Accurately scan and record battery cell and batch codes into the data tracking system to maintain traceability and quality control

What we look for in a Battery Formation Operator

• 1 year electronic assembly or operating semi-automated machinery required
• High school diploma or GED required.

Additional information for the Battery Formation Operator

•  $21.34 hourly
• Friday-Sunday, 6am – 6:30pm
  • Mandatory overtime as needed
•  Ann Arbor, 48108
