Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Laboratory Hygiene & Inventory Assistant to support both Research & Development (R&D) and Quality Control (QC) laboratory operations. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and weekly cleaning of laboratory benches, fume hoods, equipment exteriors, and floors.

• Disinfect high-contact surfaces and sanitize shared lab tools and equipment.

• Ensure proper disposal of chemical waste and laboratory trash per environmental and safety regulations.

• Restock lab consumables (e.g., gloves, wipes, pipettes, solvents) and maintain readiness of hygiene supplies.

• Maintain and organize chemical and material inventory, including raw materials, reagents, standards, and consumables.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with procuring laboratory materials.

• Label and track incoming and outgoing chemicals and supplies.

• Keep chemical storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

• Assist with periodic inventory audits and maintain accurate documentation.

• Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and inventory storage systems.

• Perform additional hygiene and inventory-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous laboratory or custodial experience preferred, but not required—training provided.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain compliance standards.

• Comfortable working with cleaning agents and handling lab consumables.

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
