Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of oilfield equipment in the Oklahoma City area. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping critical equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of oilfield equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, compressors, and other essential machinery used in daily operations.

Position: Mechanic
Location: West Oklahoma City
Pay: $18-20/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment safety and optimal performance
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including transmissions, pumps, and hydraulics
• Accurately diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and industry best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic in the oil and gas industry or a related field
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
