We're looking for a FULL TIME Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations through equipment setup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. This role requires strong multitasking abilities across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, including water, steam, and pump systems. The mechanic must be able to diagnose issues quickly, perform timely repairs, and ensure reliable operation of production equipment and related systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform setup, startup, maintenance, and repair of all production and processing equipment, including:

    • Rotary Fillers
    • Piston Fillers
    • Packette Fillers
    • Tube Fillers
    • Labelers
    • Inkjet Coders
    • Mixing Vessels
    • Pumps
    • Steam piping systems
    • Copper piping systems

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system failures and implement effective solutions.

  • Conduct repairs on water systems, steam lines, pumps, and related utilities.

  • Ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in support of production schedules.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support department and company needs.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with basic hand tools.
  • Strong pipe-fitting skills.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and repairs.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

Required Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or technical training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and perform physical tasks as needed.
