Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Class A-B CDL Driver to safely operate concrete trucks, delivering ready-mix concrete to various job sites in Hickory, KY, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a commitment to safety, and strong customer service skills.

As a Concrete Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, performing equipment maintenance, and maintaining high safety standards on the road and at the job site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A-B concrete truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites in Hickory, KY, and surrounding areas.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues.
• Ensure proper operation of the mixing system and chute to deliver concrete as required by the job site.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any issues.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and placement of concrete as required.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and DOT regulations.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience driving a concrete mixer truck or other large commercial vehicles.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and/or 10-speed semi trucks and concrete mixers.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate to remote job sites.
