About the Role:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Thomson Reuters tax and accounting software, including platforms such as UltraTax CS, Accounting CS, Practice CS, or similar products within the Thomson Reuters suite.
This role is perfect for someone who excels in accuracy, client communication, and proactive problem‑solving within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns using Thomson Reuters software.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis to support clients and internal decision-making.
• Manage bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and adjusting journal entries.
• Assist with tax planning, compliance, and year‑end preparation.
• Support audits, reviews, and compilations as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Communicate directly with clients in a clear, professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required.
• 2+ years of public accounting or relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency with Thomson Reuters software (UltraTax CS, Accounting CS, or similar tools).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, tax law, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client‑service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in multi‑unit or franchise business accounting.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting platforms.
• Experience supporting small businesses or high‑volume tax environments.
