Position Overview:
We are looking for an Entry-Level Press Brake Operator to join our growing team! In this role, you will use specialized machinery to bend metal and sheet metal to precise specifications. Strong measuring skills, basic math (including fractions and angles), and attention to detail are critical for success. We’re seeking someone who is a self-starter, eager to learn, and interested in developing their skills across all areas of production.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to precise measurements and blueprints.

• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and protractors.

• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet exact tolerances and specifications.

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

• Show initiative to learn additional areas of the production process, including machine setups and maintenance support.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of math, including working with fractions and angles.

• Strong measuring skills and high attention to detail.

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machinery.

• Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the company.

• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 pounds] and stand for extended periods.

• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a plus but not required.

• Familiarity with press brakes or similar machinery is a bonus.

• Excellent measurement skills is a must
