Job Title: Composite Quality Inspector (Composite Inspection Experience Required) $25 per hour

Pay Range: $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on composite components using visual, dimensional, and nondestructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Verify in‑process and final product quality, including layup, curing, trimming, machining, bonding, and assembly.
• Document inspection results accurately in accordance with company procedures.
• Identify, record, and communicate non‑conformances; support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use and calibration status of inspection tools, gauges, and measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to reduce defects and improve processes.
• Maintain compliance with company quality systems (AS9100, ISO9001, or applicable standards).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in composite manufacturing or quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of composite materials, fabrication processes, and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• NDT certifications (e.g., Level I or II in UT, MT, PT, or RT) are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in fast‑paced production environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands‑on inspections for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to [weight, e.g., 30–50 lbs.] as needed.
• Use of PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and respirators when required.
