Position: Warehouse Worker - Receiving (Unloading/Forklift)

 

Location: Lenexa, KS

 

Pay: $20/hour, paid weekly

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM; end time between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (final schedule TBD)

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to work across various departments and perform duties such as picking customer orders, processing items for shipment and receiving trucks as they come in. Forklift and/or cherry picker experience is required for this role as well as using a handheld scanner. We are looking for those with a team-player mindset ready to make a difference in a company.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately receive and inspect incoming materials

• Operate forklifts and/or cherry pickers

• Utilize basic computer skills to process receiving tasks

• Apply excellent attention to detail and math skills in daily tasks

General Warehouse Duties:

• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards

• Process customer orders by pulling materials and preparing them for pick-up or delivery

• Load and unload trucks as needed

• Maintain and organize warehouse bin locations

• Minimize material damage and ensure order accuracy

• Support overall inventory management and warehouse organization

• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues as needed

• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs.; ability to stand or walk for most of the shift

• Wear required PPE, including steel-toe/composite-toe boots

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred

• 2+ years of prior warehouse experience required

• Forklift/cherry picker experience

• Strong attention to detail and excellent math skills

• Basic computer literacy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Ability to solve problems independently and demonstrate sound judgment

• Dependable, self-motivated, and proactive attitude
