Express is seeking a Lead Production Worker for our client in the Reading Area! Qualified candidates would have the opportunity to grow with the company and are offered a clean, climate controlled, and well lit working environment!

Pay: $18/hr

Shift: 2nd shift  M-F (3:15pm-11:15pm) 

*Training on 1st shift M-F (7:15am-3:15pm) for 3 months before moving to 2nd Shift

 

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities: 

• Completing Quality Control Checks on all products
• Responsible for all aspects of packaging, code dates, seals, weights, metal detectors, etc. 
• Assigning work to packers
• Communication between shift workers and other forepersons
• Training packing room personnel
• Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for entirety of shift, bend, reach, and crouch
• Excellent communication skills, decision making skills, and time management
• Experience in packing, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, Quality Control
• Leadership experience required
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
