Salary: Up to $60,000

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a full-time Accountant to work for non-profit housing programs aimed at those in need located in the Honolulu area! This is an in-person position with a team setting with compensation up to $60K! Non-profit experience is not required, and training is available!

Job Description

• Reconcile all general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, reports, and schedules
• Train and assist new personnel
• Address inquires regarding payroll inquires from employees and supervisors
• Provide support to other tasks if requested

 

Preferred skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
• Knowledge of HR Symphony/related payroll system (preferred)
• Experience in using accounting software
• Frequently moving and lifting to 20lbs over short distances

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in accounting or related field from accredited college/university (required)
• 2 years of experience in general ledger and financial reporting duties
• Valid Driver’s License (daily access to own vehicle, up to date auto and safety check, clean driving record)
