Join a growing and well- established organization specializing in Metal Manufacturing through Express Employment Professionals in Guelph! We are hiring on behalf of a local employer seeking a Finish Welder. This is an excellent fixed term contract opportunity for someone looking for stability, consistent daytime hours, and long-term career potential in a safety-focused environment.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 6:45am - 4:00pm - Fridays: 6:45am to 11:45am

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00/hour

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Operate and maintain all welding and grinding equipment
• Perform all welding/grinding procedures and related tasks including stud and spot welding on carbon and stainless-steel custom enclosures
• Understanding and proficiency in installing all doors, swing panels and accessories, i.e disconnects etc.
• Read and understand blueprints and layout drawings
• Process low rework and scrap rates
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications & Requirements:

• The ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
• Exemplary attendance.
• The ability to work well in a team environment and alone
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Finish Welding: 3 years pref.
• CWB Certification
