HR Generalist

Located in Covina, CA

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an HR Generalist for a well-established manufacturing company located in Covina, CA. This hands-on position supports day-to-day human resources operations in a fast-paced production environment and works closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliance, engagement, and efficient HR processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees within a manufacturing or industrial setting and be comfortable working on-site. Experience with Ease and Paylocity is strongly preferred.

Compensation: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management
• Administer employee benefits through Ease, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment support
• Maintain and manage employee records within the Paylocity HRIS system
• Assist with employee relations matters, including policy interpretation, issue resolution, and documentation
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
• Assist with performance management processes and employee documentation
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping while maintaining confidentiality at all times
• Partner with management on HR initiatives and process improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role
• Hands-on experience with Ease and Paylocity (required)
• Strong knowledge of general HR practices, employment law, and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
