This entry-level role is designed for individuals who enjoy working with people and are eager to learn clinical skills in a hands-on environment. This position supports patients undergoing vision therapy by guiding them through structured exercises that improve visual processing, eye coordination, and related visual-motor skills. This position offers full training, meaningful patient interaction, and a pathway to grow within the vision therapy or broader healthcare field. Key Responsibilities

• Lead patients through vision therapy exercises based on treatment plans created by the supervising doctor.
• Demonstrate and explain activities that support visual-motor development, eye-tracking, and perceptual skills.
• Observe patient performance and record progress, challenges, and session outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the clinic’s system.
• Prepare therapy rooms, equipment, and materials before each session.
• Provide encouragement, clear instruction, and a positive experience for patients of all ages.
• Communicate patient updates or concerns to the supervising doctor.
• Support basic administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient reminders, and general clinic organization.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming therapy environment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and follow structured clinical protocols.
• Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
• Patience, attention to detail, and a supportive demeanor.

 

 

 

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience working with children, tutoring, coaching, or customer service.
• Interest in healthcare, education, psychology, kinesiology, or related fields.
• Bilingual skills (if applicable).
