Bakery Chef / Pastry Chef

Salary: Pay Rate: $19 – $22 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Bakery Chef with hands-on pastry-making experience to prepare high-quality baked goods and desserts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily production while maintaining food quality, consistency, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods
• Follow standardized recipes while maintaining quality and presentation
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of ingredients and finished products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and workstations
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or Pastry Chef
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and consistency in product quality
• Food Handler Certification is an asset

Pay Rate:

$19 – $22 per hour (depending on experience)
