Service Technician

Located in Acton, MA

Salary: $50,000-$80,000/yr

We are seeking a Mechanical Service Technician for our client, a manufacturing company in Acton, MA. This is a DIRECT HIRE position. The main responsibility is to lead the repairs and maintenance of machines by providing excellent customer support.

Travel Requirements: 20% travel/year to customer locations in North America and Canada

• Maintenance and repair of machines, specifically hydraulic machines
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing machine errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintence and test tasks by cooperating with the technical team
• Providing professional customer support via phone and email
• Writing technical reports and emails

Training: Must be available for 3-4 weeks of initial training in Italy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a service technician or mechanical technician role
• Industrial/Mechanical knowledge (Hydraulic concepts preferred)
• Experience in work tools, reading blueprints/schematics preferred
• Ability to perform both manual work and administrative tasks (reporting, communication)
• Ability to travel 20% of the year for technical trainings, or machine installations

This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position
The hours will be Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

Pay is depending on experience
