Our Pickering client is looking for Forklift Operators to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and put away materials within the warehouse
• Operate Forklift (Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order Picker) 70%
• Complete inspections for forklifts, pallet trucks and other devices
• Perform warehouse operations (load, unload, receive, put away, pick, pack, and ship)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked (product name and size, product code, expiration date and quantity)
• Count, confirm and complete paperwork for quantities of materials received
• Use RF Scanners to electronically scan barcodes and handle products
• Perform housekeeping duties (clean-up, dispose of waste, materials, and products)
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Performing other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Forklift Certification Counterbalance, Raymond Reach & Order Picker is a must
• 3-5 years Forklift Operation experience
• 3-5 years of experience working in a Warehouse environment
• Previous use of RF scanners required
• Safety boots/shoes required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
• Reliable, punctual and great work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience using inventory software (asset)
• Knowledge of safety rules and policies
• Own vehicle preferred (not public transit accessible)

Compensation and Hours:

• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 11:00am to 7:30pm
• Pay Rate: $24 per hour
