Maintenance Technician - Port Angeles

Salary: $20.00

Overview:  A storage facility in Port Angeles is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to assist with general repairs and upkeep. This part-time role is ideal for a hands-on, “jack-of-all-trades” professional who is comfortable handling a variety of maintenances tasks on an as-needed basis.

 

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility
• Assist with light construction projects and minor building repairs
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Perform light electrical work (e.g., replacing fixtures, outlet, switches or troubleshooting electrical gate)
• Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues as they arise
• Communicate repair needs and completed work to management

Requirements:

• Experience in general maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, dependable
• Own your own basic hand and power tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and perform hands-on repair work

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: about twice per month, 4 hour shifts
