Pay: Base salary $65,000–$85,000/year (BOE) + quarterly bonuses
Schedule: Monday – Friday (on the road 4–5 days/week)

About the Position:
We are seeking a personable and driven Outside Sales Representative to support families navigating Medicaid qualification for loved ones in nursing homes. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with nursing home business managers and administrators while expanding new partnerships throughout Western Pennsylvania. This is a relationship-based sales role requiring empathy, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
This position offers autonomy, excellent earning potential, and a supportive internal team that assists with scheduling and coordination. Most nights are spent at home, with minimal overnight travel required.
Responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative:
- Build and maintain relationships with nursing home administrators and business office managers
- Develop new referral partnerships with nursing homes throughout the assigned territory
- Educate nursing home staff and families on Medicaid qualification and intake processes
- Coordinate new client intakes with internal sales and support teams
- Maintain regular contact with existing nursing home partners while expanding new accounts
- Manage your own daily schedule and submit planned visit routes
- Track activity, meetings, and progress toward sales goals
- Travel locally throughout Western PA (typically home nightly; overnight travel 1–2 times per year)
Requirements of the Outside Sales Representative:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to run numbers and discuss financial information clearly and confidently
- Friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor when working with families and healthcare professionals
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently
- Comfortable spending most days on the road
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary of $65,000–$85,000/year, based on experience
- Quarterly bonuses tied to performance ($10,000–$20,000 potential annually)
- $1,000/month travel reimbursement
- $500/month company credit card allowance for client relationship-building expenses
- 14 days PTO for the first 5 years (increases to 21 days thereafter)
