Shop Helper (Santa Fe Springs, CA)

Monday - Friday /  7:30am-4:00pm

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour, DOE

 

A steel supplier company is looking for a Shop Helper to assist in the shop. The role involves cleaning, handling, and preparing steel using hand grinders, power tools, and lifts. Shop Helper Responsibilities:

• Use hand grinding tools and other power tools to clean steel
• Operate lifts to move materials around the shop
• Assist other shop staff as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Shop Helper Requirements:

• Ability to use hand grinding tools and power tools
• Previous machine shop experience is a plus
• Familiarity with steel is a plus
• Ability to lift and move materials safely
• Strong work ethic and reliability
