Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for Machine Operator I openings in Pine City, MN. Pay & Schedule

  • Hourly Pay: $20.00/hour

  • Schedule (First Shift): Monday–Thursday 6:00AM–3:00PM, Friday 6:00AM–12:00PM

  • Pay Frequency: Weekly

  • Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

  • Location: Pine City, MN

  • Screening: No drug screen; background check required

Key Responsibilities

  • Running machines and pulling parts

  • Deburring using hand deburring wheel and grinder

  • Performing quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Following production processes to meet efficiency expectations

  • Maintaining clean and safe work practices

 

Qualifications

  • Inspection tool experience

  • Machine shop experience

  • Ability to train on machine operation

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Experience running CNC machines

 

Experience Required

  • Inspection tool experience (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

  • Machine shop experience

  • Blueprint reading ability

  • Hands-on CNC machine operation experience

  • General mechanical aptitude

 

Qualities Required

  • Reliable

  • Self-sufficient

  • Dependable

 

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Frequent bending, turning, twisting

  • Standing for full shift

 

Equipment Used

  • Deburring wheel

  • Production machinery

  • Pallet jack

  • Micrometers and calipers

  • Palm sander

  • Laser and waterjet equipment

  • Timesaver (large belt sanding machine)

  • Possible brake press

  • 40 hours per week
