Job Description: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a shop environment, with a proven ability to set up and operate complex machinery independently.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Setup: Demonstrate full proficiency in the setup and operation of vertical and horizontal mills.
Programming: Utilize G & M Code to program and troubleshoot machinery (required).
Technical Design: Use CAM software (Fusion 360 or Mastercam) for part programming and process optimization.
Quality Control: Read and interpret technical blueprints and utilize precision measuring devices to ensure all parts meet exact specifications.
Workflow Management: Maintain a high standard of safety and efficiency within a fast-paced fabrication shop environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: 3–4+ years of experience specifically within a fabrication shop.
Technical Skills: * Expertise in G & M Code is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with Vertical & Horizontal Mills.
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 or Mastercam.
Core Skills: Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools with high accuracy.

Position Details

Pay Rate: $27.00 – $32.06 per hour (Depending on Qualifications).
Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
Start Date: ASAP.
