Position: Document Coordinator
Location: Texarkana, TX
Hours: M-F, full time, some overtime may be required
Pay: $18/hr, DOE
Job Summary: The Document Coordinator is responsible for overseeing document control, data entry accuracy, and digital compliance across multiple construction sites. This role works closely with site supervisors to ensure all required documentation is completed correctly and on time, while also serving as a first point of contact for basic IT and technical support related to documentation systems, tablets, and software used in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support site supervisors in completing required documents, reports, and data entry accurately and consistently
Review, organize, and maintain construction documents including daily reports, safety logs, production data, and compliance records
Ensure documents are submitted in accordance with company standards, timelines, and regulatory requirements
Train site supervisors on proper document procedures, data entry methods, and system usage
Provide basic IT and technical support for field staff, including troubleshooting tablets, software, and document management systems
Coordinate with management to identify documentation issues, trends, or gaps and recommend process improvements
Maintain secure digital filing systems and ensure data integrity across platforms
Assist with audits, inspections, and internal reviews by compiling and verifying documentation
Act as a liaison between field operations, IT support, and administrative teams
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction administration, document control, or project coordination preferred
Strong understanding of data entry, document management, and recordkeeping best practices
Comfortable providing basic IT and technical support (tablets, software, cloud systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce documentation standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with field supervisors and management
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Problem-solving mindset with a service-oriented approach
Ability to train and coach others effectively
Familiarity with construction terminology and workflows is a plus
Work Environment:
Combination of office and field support
Interaction with site supervisors and construction management teams
May require occasional travel to job sites
