Express is looking for a web press assistant for a client located in Sinking Spring, PA. The company is looking to hire on someone with machine press operating experience to join a company that offers career growth for their employees!

 

Machine Operator Assistant

Pay: $20/hour

Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more!

Shift: 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday (10pm-6am) with possible overtime 

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator Assistant:

• Installing printing plates, rollers, and cylinders in machines
• Load position and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixture or into loading mechanism
• Mount plates on print cylinders, wash up press of inks to prepare for next job, and discard or correct printed materials
• Assist in maintenance of machinery, assist in cleaning and lubricating of machine, and remove printed materials to drying and storage area

Qualifications of the Machine Operator Assistant:

• 4+ years experience with machine set up
• Knowledge of printing press and Quality control
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
