Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of EPC & Operations, the Manager, Project Engineering will oversee the technical aspects of solar and energy storage projects, ensuring that engineering deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical review of project design packages, studies, and analyses at various stages (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC).

Conduct technical reviews of contracts to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.

Ensure all designs and technical documents comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Monitor that design and engineering deliverables align with project schedules and milestones.

Provide technical support across all project phases, from early development through commissioning.

Coordinate with EPC contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical issues.

Support project teams in addressing RFIs (Requests for Information) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

Collaborate with project management, procurement, and operations teams to support execution.

Identify risks and propose technical solutions to maintain project performance and quality.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required); Master’s degree preferred.

3+ years of experience in solar and/or energy storage engineering.

Experience providing technical oversight and review for at least five major solar or battery storage projects.

Strong understanding of utility-scale project design and construction processes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
