Located in Homestead, FL

Salary: $18-$24 per hour

Assistant Laboratory Manager 

 

About the Role: Reporting to the Accelerated Lab Manager, the primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the day to day oversite of the Accelerated Lab. Duties will include quality, maintenance, customer service, billing, reporting and supervision.

What you will be doing:

• Provide consultation to customer on available testing options
• Create specialized reports as needed.
• Perform physical and chemical tests as well as evaluate the results
• Develop test schedule for the lab
• Maintain equipment inventory list
• Perform scheduled maintenance and complete repairs as needed for equipment
• Document and prepare test solutions
• Conduct technical reviews and assist in relevant updates to the quality system
• Create billing sheets for customers
• Other duties as required

What we are looking for:

• Formal training in mathematics, physics, chemistry or statistics
• Solid computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Programs
• High Technical Aptitude
• Familiarity with standards and test procedures a plus
• Prior Management experience preferred
