Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Call Intake Specialist, they will be responsible for communication with clients, client intake processes, providing excellent customer service, handling matters, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills in a legal setting.

Duties and Tasks

• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Experience in Client Intake and Customer Service
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in a legal setting is a plus
• Perform follow-up calls/emails/texts to potential clients.
• Prepare and send new client paperwork and correspondence; follow up with potential clients to obtain required documents or information to complete the intake process.
•  Relay decision to decline potential clients once case has been rejected by Intake or an attorney.
• Maintain meticulous records in firm case management system updating matters as tasks are completed.
• Assist other departments if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred
• One (1) more year of experience performing intakes for a law firm
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite, outlook, internet, and learning new systems and software
• Basic knowledge of legal terminology, intake processes, and best practices
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to complete tasks with conflicting deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to relay empathy for others’ situations
• Excellent judgment with the ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to interact professionally with people from various backgrounds
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor
• Willingness to support coworkers in whatever way necessary
