Job Title: Tax Accountant (Entry-Level)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for an entry-level candidate with a Bachelor’s degree who is looking to start or grow a career in tax accounting. The Tax Accountant will assist with tax preparation, compliance, and related accounting tasks while working closely with senior team members.

Compensation & Work Arrangement:

• Salary: $50,000–$58,000 per year

• Work Type: Fully remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with federal, state, and local tax returns

• Gather, review, and organize financial and tax-related documents

• Assist with tax planning and compliance activities

• Research basic tax issues and tax regulations

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding tax information

• Support senior accountants with audits and special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Entry-level candidates welcome; prior tax or accounting experience is a plus

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; accounting software experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred (Not Required):

• Internship or coursework related to tax accounting

• Interest in pursuing CPA or other accounting certifications
