About the Role
Express Employment Professionals – Guelph is recruiting for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator for a reputable trucking dispatch company in the Guelph, ON area.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Process employee payroll accurately and on time, including calculation of regular hours, overtime, and applicable deductions
- Prepare, submit, and reconcile payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations (e.g., T4s, W-2s)
- Maintain and update payroll records for new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation changes
- Administer employee benefits data within the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Ensure payroll records and reports are complete, accurate, and compliant with audit and regulatory requirements
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years payroll experience with ADP, workforce
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) from the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA).
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
