Maintenance Electrician

Salary: $25.00/Hr

 

• Our client located in Carpentersville, IL is looking for a 1^st Shift Maintenance Electrician to join their team! In the role you will Assist with leading projects, General upkeep of building electrical systems, Routine Inspection etc.

In this position, you will:

• Lead projects
• General upkeep of a building’s electrical system
• Routinely inspect electrical systems such as wiring on facility and machines
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and maintenance problems and implement quality solutions.
• Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines and equipment.
• Fix faulty wiring
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Help maintain spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety standards 

Experience Required:

 

 

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical experience a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Maintenance Electrician
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code
• Skills must include problem solving, teamwork, and good communication.
• Must be able to lead a team
• Ability to act competently in emergencies
