Operations Manager- CNC / Manufacturing

Located in Bloomington , IN

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience (CNC or machining preferred)
• Previous leadership or supervisor experience
• Strong understanding of machining processes, blueprints, and tolerances
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred 

Job Summary:

• Lead daily production operations across CNC machining, materials, and quality
• Set production priorities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow to minimize downtime and inefficiencies
• Ensure on-time delivery and customer quality expectations are met
• Monitor performance metrics and hold supervisors accountable for results
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, scrap reduction, efficiency gains)
• Oversee preventative maintenance, safety, housekeeping, and SPC practices
• Lead, train, and develop supervisors, machinists, and technical staff
• Coordinate materials management, purchasing, supplier performance, and quality systems
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective action plans

• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, reports)
