Summary: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, documentation, and shipment of outbound orders. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product integrity, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction while supporting warehouse and logistics operations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process outbound shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders.
• Verify shipment contents against orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory or ERP systems as required.
• Inspect outgoing products for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory counts and organization.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and company procedures.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping software, ERP systems, and common carriers is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
